he Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) invites and encourages Cambodian American Studies Model Curriculum (CASMC) contributors and all others interested in Cambodian American Studies to submit a proposal for the Cambodian American Studies Conference in San Jose on Jan. 31 - Feb.1, 2025.

These conferences are intended to:

  1. Introduce the curriculum and companion resources to K-12 California teachers
  2. Connect teachers with community members and culture bearers, as well as relevant epistemologies and cultural practices
  3. Allow educators to participate in culturally immersive experiences in local communities

Proposals are invited for individual presentations, organized panels, and group presentations. We also welcome proposals for lecture-performances or other creative contributions; these may be submitted using the same submission categories according to the time required, and number of participants involved.
