Reverberations of War: The U.S. Bombing of Cambodia
RI.11-12.7, W.11-12.1, HSS 11.9.2Students will learn about the history and legacy of the intense US bombing of Cambodia (1965 to 1973) during the Vietnam War. They will gain an understanding of the impact that this bombing had, and continues to have, on Cambodian citizens and landscapes. In doing so, students will consider the enduring nature of violence and war, as well as, the fundamental role that remembrance plays in education and healing.
